So, Satire. The aim of this project was to create a series of paintings that depicted a social comentary.

and after not understanding this at all my tutor gave us a speech sort of like this...

Which helped alot in honesty,we had to find something that we hated, or didnt agree with in the world and paint it in some sort of a humorous way.

My initial idea was to look at the funeral of Kim Jong Il that took place quite recently. During the drive through the streets anyone seen not to be morning him, and they really ment on your knees wishing it was you and not him, would be taken to work camps and prisons or even executed. This was probebly the best moment in some of these peoples lives or atleast untill a new dictator was in power. so I planed to paint the image of the car driving down the streets of north Korea surounded by cheering crowds all hiding behind masks of misery.
